There are four steps to the admissions process.

1. Apply to Discovery College

Fill out an application to start the process of becoming a Discovery College student.

Applications for Fall 2023/ Spring 2024 are now open!

2. Admissions Interview

Let’s get to know each other! A member of our Discovery College staff will reach out to schedule an interview with you.

3. Apply to Vanguard University

After you have been accepted into Discovery College, you will apply to Vanguard University.

Application fee will be waived

4. Apply to for Financial Aid

Once you have been accepted into Vanguard, you will fill out a FAFSA application to apply for financial aid. Vanguard’s school code is 001293.

The full duration of the program is 4 years for a B.A degree. Students are able to apply for the Fall or Sprint semester.
The day-to-day schedule of a Discovery College student is structured in a set academic flow to ensure the greatest achievable growth. Students will have a Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday schedule. Within this schedule will include the opportunity for students to engage and participate in Discovery Staff Chapels, outreach, leadership courses, and ministry practicums.
Students will come under the leadership of the ministry practicum leader and learn hands-on ministry while meeting set learning objectives each semester.
Yes, many of our current students work part-time. It is the responsibility of every student to manage their time effectively to ensure they you are dedicating enough time and effort to their studies and ministry practicum.
